Poem - Our Baby James
Our baby James you were so small, your life not meant to be God needed you in heaven, in a place that we cannot see. So when we look up to the night sky and see the stars above, We know that you are up there, twinkling down on us your love. But our little baby James, we would rather you be here, To cuddle you and hear your cry, we long for you to be near. Sometimes I think I feel you, a hug around my heart, You give me something to remind me that we will never truly part. The times that we will miss you and the times that we will cry, And the times that we will ask ourselves the upsetting question, Why? But there will come a time when we will say your name and smile, Thinking of the joy you brought to our lives if just for a short while. You will never be forgotten, our first-born baby Son, Forever in our hearts you will be our precious little one.
